Autism Awareness Month

April marks a significant time for the 5P team as we celebrate World Autism Awareness Day. For us, this isn't just a date on the calendar—it’s personal. As business leaders, we have a unique opportunity to create cultures that welcome visual, rule-based, and interest-based thinking. Explore how we can move beyond awareness to true acceptance, and find local resources to help you support a workforce where every individual can thrive using their unique strengths.

Autism Awareness

Did you know that April 2nd is #WorldAutismAwarenessDay? Autism awareness is important to 5P because many of our team members know or love someone living with autism. Today and in the month of April, we’d like to celebrate intellectual differences and bring awareness to Autism.

As Founders and Business Leaders, I challenge each of you to create and support a culture that welcomes diverse candidates on the autism spectrum into the workforce.

My wish every day is for people to learn more, welcome the differences in our day-to-day environments, and create a space where a child or adult can thrive using their strengths. The gifts that can be brought far outweigh the challenges. Let’s educate ourselves and create opportunities for visual, rule-based, and interest-based thinking.

Here are some resources to get involved with Autism Acceptance Month and educate yourself or donate to an organization:
