5P is seeking a Salesforce Architect with a strong development background. The primary responsibility in this client-facing role is to design and develop custom Salesforce solutions for our clients that leverage best practices in business process design and solution architecture.

It’s required for this role to have a mixed skills set of hands-on experience building declarative solutions and programming. This would span the Salesforce platform to include Sales, Service, Marketing, and Commerce Cloud along with Order Management Functionality. You design, create, deploy, and maintain solutions.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and build existing Salesforce solutions to automate business processes, improve user experience, and ensure the Salesforce platform is used efficiently
• Design, develop, build, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, CSS, and Javascript
• Implement integrations with third-party applications and data such as NetSuite, ServiceNow, and others using web services and APIs
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical platform issues and ensure that solutions conform to best practices
• Lead projects through strong project management or DevOps experience with planning and ensuring execution of project tasks, tickets, and change requests
• Join pre-sales meetings to provide high-level recommendations, analyze needs and form solutions using agile development methodologies, gather requirements, and document architecture solutions
• Identify and recommend Salesforce-based solutions, integration points, and related implementation architecture for business improvements, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with and support the existing Salesforce team of admins, developers, and architects to engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to the best practices
• Merge and test systems using automation and non-automation methods
• Must have a foundation in testing, version control, configuration management, deployment methodologies, and release management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Client-facing skills inclusive of clear communication focusing on collaborative solution building and navigating production issues 
• Multiple advanced Salesforce certifications with 8+ years of proven Salesforce hands-on experience 
• Verifiable knowledge and expertise with Apex, Lightning Framework, the Salesforce Cloud Solutions, and API-based integrations are required
• Development skills including Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce application design
• 3+ years of experience using Lightning Component Framework 
• Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming techniques
• Knowledgeable in Java, Trigger development, Process Builder, TDTM, and governor limits
• Should be familiar with Salesforce’s integrated solutions through applications such as Oracle ERP, NetSuite, and other business systems
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to attention to detail and quality 
• Must be available during business hours, Monday – Friday with the ability to travel occasionally for client site visits  
• Experience working with Jira
