Each year for the past eleven years Cox Business and media partner, the San Diego Business Journal have hosted the “Top Tech Exec Awards (TTE)” event. Its focus is to highlight and recognize our technology leaders in the community driving innovation and making change.
As a technology executive it’s the premier event I look forwarding to attending each year to geek out and enjoy my fellow technology peers. It’s such a fun event to recognize the great work companies are making in their technology landscape. Each year we all learn something new and it provides a venue of transparency to what others are doing in San Diego along with volunteer efforts. The sponsors, food and music aren’t so bad also.
TTE is important to me 1) as a professional with 25 years in the field and 2) as a Women leading STEM activities in the community I am a native of. It think it’s important to highlight the things leaders are doing to give back to San Diego companies, students, non-profits and growing our city. TTE provides opportunities to showcase how technology continues to be a growing need; not slowing down.
