Ed comes to 5P with nearly 20 years of experience in operational finance, accounting, and business and digital transformation. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he earned his CPA license. He then joined Qualcomm’s semiconductor division, spending over a decade in diverse roles spanning commercial pricing, finance leadership for the Automotive Business Unit, global distribution channel management, Asia-Pacific controllership and operations, SG&A finance, software license management, and acquisition integration.

Following his tenure at Qualcomm, Ed joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as Senior Director of Finance for the Global IT organization. In this role, he led financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for a $1B+ function, overseeing complex allocations, global software purchasing decisions, product implementation reviews, vendor selection and negotiations, and spearheading an annual Zero-Based Redesign initiative that delivered significant cost savings.

At 5P Consulting, Ed leads the FinApp practice as Sr. Director of Business Architecture, guiding clients through application selection and implementation for ERPs, SCMs, and CPM/EPM solutions. He also provides overarching business architecture support. Clients regard him as a strategic partner with deep operational expertise, driving practical process improvements that align business and technology.

On a personal note, Ed met his wife, Emily, in college, and they have been together for over 22 years. They have two children, Mikey and Sadie. In his free time, Ed enjoys spending time with his family at the beach.
