David comes to 5P with a diverse background ranging from Medical Laboratory Technology, Management Information Systems and Project Management. David supervised the implementation of a new Laboratory Info System at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and brings his love of technology to 5P. His passion for people and his attention to detail make him an integral part of our Solution Architecture team. 

Throughout his career, David’s background includes a diverse group of industries. From the Public sector to Fortune 100 companies. David came from a background in the medical field that allowed him to transition into Information Systems. He served for 3 years on the Board of Health for the Town of Provincetown in Massachusetts. 

David had the opportunity to go back to college and finish his bachelor’s degree. He received his bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, with distinction in Information Systems, from San Diego State University. While attending SDSU he was honored to receive a Gilman Scholarship from the US Department of State. He chose to study in Portugal and the Azores as part of his study abroad. 

David is originally from Provincetown, Massachusetts, and currently resides in Pahoa, on the Big Island of Hawaii. He loves to travel and has often explored the Hawaiian Islands. After his last trip exploring the Big Island, he made the move to permanent residency. He enjoys going to the beach and having time with friends and family.
